Sophie Caironi studied painting at the LUCA School of Arts in Ghent, where she obtained her master’s degree. After her studies, she worked as a children’s guide and created workshops for children and adults in the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels. It was there that she made her first illustrations.
Today, Sophie Caironi is a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Anderlecht, where she teaches painting, drawing and 3D techniques to teenagers.
Sophie Caironi is one of the finalists for the Illustration Awards at the Bologna Book Fair 2022!
