Serge Bloch is well known as an author of children’s books, although he mainly works as an editorial illustrator.
In the US, he has often worked for the Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, NY Times ,Time Magazine, New York Magazine, The Boston Globe, GQ, The Los Angeles Times, Bloomberg, Oxford University Press, Scholastic, National Geographic Magazine, Selling Power and Ecologist Magazine. He enjoys making humorous works and calls them “good, modest artwork”. He won the Gold Medal of the Society of Illustrators in NY in 2005, the Baobab, 2006 Best Children’s Book Award in France and the Bologna Ragazzi Award.
