He was born in 1986 in Verbania, a town on Lake Maggiore from which he fled after art school but to which he secretly and often returns. After trying, in vain, to get into medical school, he decided to stick to his initial plan and enrolled at the European Institute of Design, which he completed in 2008, graduating in Illustration and Animation. Since then he has been living and working in Milan, producing illustrations for magazines, associations, posters, children’s books and record covers. He loves leafing through illustrated books, encyclopaedias of natural sciences and card samples, studying French, devouring novels, travelling to discover new places, spending time in the European capitals he knows, London, Berlin and Paris, feeling happy listening to music in New York and collecting aviaries.
