After a BA in Fine Art from the University of York and an MA in Art and Space from the University of Kingston-upon-Thames, I developed a career as an artist, successfully both individually and as part of the group ‘Byclops’, specialising in painting and film.
I then trained as a primary and secondary school teacher and practised art therapy with children with special needs.
In 2011 I obtained a Master of Arts in Illustration of children’s books from the Cambridge School of Art.
I currently combine my work as an author and illustrator with my work as an artist.
