Leire Salaberria

Leire Salaberria was born in San Sebastián, where she lives and works as an illustrator. She graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Bilbao in 2006. In 2010, she specialised in children’s illustration in Barcelona at the Eina school. She was selected for the catalogue and exhibition at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair 2012 and the Sharjah International Book Fair 2013. Her first written and illustrated work ‘Euria ari duenean’ won the 2012 Etxepare prize. During this short period, he published books with OQO and Factoria K in Spain and with El Naranjo in México. “Io, Qinuq” is his first book published in Italy.
