Marina Marcolin was born in Vicenza in 1975. She works as an illustrator for major Italian and foreign publishing houses. Her illustrations have been exhibited in Italy and abroad, and she has won prizes and mentions in illustration competitions. In 2006, she received an important award as best foreign illustrator from the Greek Ministry of Culture. She teaches watercolour and illustration at the “Ossidiana” Cultural Association in Vicenza. She lives in Arcugnano (VI) between a lake and a forest.
