She was born in 1980 in Tehran, Iran. In 2003, she graduated in Graphic Design and in the same year began working as an illustrator for several children’s and youth magazines.
La città di carta, written in 2010, is her first text that she will illustrate in 2011 while attending the Biennium of Illustration for Publishing at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. Storia di un viaggio, published in Italy by Kite edizioni, is her second work.
Nazli loves to tell, mainly through images, stories about characters who are often on the move, eager to explore different worlds and about to crack their armour to look beyond.
