Paola Presciuttini was born in Florence in 1970. She started writing short stories in her early twenties and has since published seven books. She has also written for the theatre and many of her texts have been performed. She is translated into German and Portuguese. She often thinks about giving up writing but then for one reason or another continues to do so.
