Pierdomenico Baccalario was born in Acqui Terme in 1974 and now lives with his family in the United Kingdom.
Author of numerous adventure novels for children and illustrated books, Pierdomenico is also a journalist and screenwriter. In 1998, his novel La Strada del Guerriero won him the Il Battello a vapore prize.
