Silvia Santirosi was born in Frascati (RM) in 1981. After a stint as a student of International and Diplomatic Sciences, she graduated in Philosophy in 2005. She published the poetry collection Istantanee (Edilet, 2008), the children’s book Capitan Barbabrizzola. A nose to save illustrated by Simone Rea (Anicia ragazzi, 2012) and short stories in various magazines.
She has been a registered journalist since 2010. She collaborates with L’Espresso, L’Unità, Andersen and Le conquiste del lavoro.
With the screenplay Un altro giorno she is one of the winners of the ‘Giovani Talenti Italiani 2007’ competition.
She collaborated on the film Tutta la vita davanti (2008) by Paolo Virzì.
