Bigoudì has everything she could want: she lives in a mega-luxurious building, her life is filled with pleasant daily routines, and above all, she has him—her sweetie pie, her rum baba, her little dog Alfonso. One morning, she finds him lying on the rug, asleep forever. Bigoudì is overwhelmed by grief as big as her love for him: she cries at the movies, in the street, at the dentist, in front of the TV with his photo on the couch. She no longer wants to risk suffering like that, so she decides to isolate herself from everyone and everything. Nothing could make her change her mind. Or maybe something could?

A gently ironic picture book about love and the pain of loss, of mourning, that teaches us even in despair, something new can always happen.

Themes: loss, withdrawal, return to life.
