Paris, 19th century. A ballerina at the Opera, after final rehearsals, realizes she has swapped bags with Monsieur Degas—the painter who had spent months sketching the dancers as they danced, rested, and chatted. She runs across the city in search of him and meets some extraordinary artists who were depicting Paris at that time. She and Degas meet again just before curtain-up.

A magnificent tribute to French Impressionism and the city of Paris.

Themes: Impressionism, Degas, dance.
