Barbara Vagnozzi was born in Genoa in 1961. As a child, she dreamed of living in the country and painting; now she devotes herself exclusively to illustration. She has published many books in Anglo-Saxon countries and in Italy.
She lives in the hills of Emilia with her two children, her English husband, a dog, three cats, four ducks and two rabbits. Maybe that is why she likes to draw funny animals of all kinds so much!
