Graduated in Education Sciences and PhD in Pedagogical, Educational and Training Sciences at the Department of Education Sciences, University of Padua, he works as a post-doctoral research fellow at the same department, under the supervision of Prof. Paola Milani. His research focuses on educational issues related to resilience especially with reference to vulnerable children and families, aspects of educational communication (counselling skills in individual and group contexts), the school-family-services relationship, socio-educational interventions with children and families and the evaluation of socio-educational interventions. He is the author of numerous scientific contributions, both nationally and internationally, among which we mention the text “Under a starry sky. Education, children and resilience” published in 2010 together with Paola Milani for Raffaello Cortina Editore. He has spent several study periods abroad (St. Andrews U.K., Washington D.C., Jerusalem) and has participated as a speaker at numerous international conferences (France, Holland, United Kingdom, Greece, New Zealand, Croatia, Italy). For several years he has been conducting training courses for teachers, educators, animators and social workers on the above-mentioned research topics and has collaborated as a lecturer in university teaching workshops.
