Marco Viale was born in Liguria, where he still lives and works.
For many years he devoted himself to painting, more recently to illustration and writing.
As an author-illustrator, he has published with Giralangolo and il Castoro.
In 2013, he won the ‘Nati per leggere’ award. His books have been translated into French, Spanish, German, Chinese, Korean and Turkish.
