Victoria Semykina is a fine artist and illustrator who lives and works in Bologna.
After graduating in painting with a gold medal from the Moscow State Academy of Art , she decided to continue her studies in Italy.
She fell in love with the sunshine and vibrancy of Bologna where she completed her studies in printmaking and then decided to stay.
A playful approach to illustration gives Victoria’s work a fresh and ironic touch. Her work often switches from one technique to another, mixing and overlapping collages on her illustrations and is inspired by everything she captures while riding her red bicycle.
