THOUGHTS AND PRACTICES IN MEETINGS BETWEEN CHILDREN AND PARENTS WHO DO NOT LIVE TOGETHER

The educational booklet Meeting, Being Together and Feeling Good and the picture book Many Ways of Being Together, paired with it, were created to tell the story of children living away from home with adults other than their biological parents, following court orders, to protect them from situations that are risky or detrimental to their health and development. In many cases, these children meet their parents in the presence of a professional, in dedicated spaces within social or health services. Both publications are tools to accompany, facilitate, and support parent-child meetings from an evolutionary-transformative perspective. The booklet is aimed at professionals, educators, parents, and other adult figures, while the picture book is for children going through this type of experience.
