Bufo is a small toad that nature has not endowed with the basic characteristics of its species. Mocked by everyone, he lives alone during the day, unlike his companions who live at night. Wandering in the woods, he hears a faint melody played by insects in the distance. The fortuitous encounter prompts him to sharpen his wits to build an instrument that will allow him to create an equally fascinating music, which may perhaps complement that of his new friends.
A story about the pain of feeling different at first, and the joy of discovering oneself, much later, to be the same.
Themes: difference, isolation, redemption, belonging.
