Amin Hassanzadeh Sharif is originally from Tehran but lived in Bologna from 2011 to 2014 to take advanced courses at the Bologna Academy of Fine Arts. His illustrations have been published all over the world by the publisher Shabaviz and have earned the artist several awards, including the prestigious Golden Pen prize awarded by the Belgrade International Biennial in 2007. The Blue Tree illustrations were selected for the Annual and Illustrators Exhibition at the Bologna Book Fair in 2014.
