Yael Frankel lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she works as a graphic designer and illustrator. In 2013 she was selected for the ‘México Iberoamerican Illustration’ catalogue. In 2014 she was selected for the ‘Sharjah Children’s reading festival exhibition’. In 2014 she was selected for the ‘Ukranie Cow Design festival’. In 2014 she was selected for the ‘Portugal Illustration Festival’. In 2015 she was selected for Sharjah Children’s reading festival exhibition. In 2015 she received a special mention in Orecchio Acerbo’s contest “Capucceto Rosso” White Raven 2015, A simple vista, Editorial Amanuta, Chile. In 2016 she was selected at the Bologna children’s book fair, Italy. She was a finalist in the 2016 edition of the Silent book contest, Italy. Won the Premio de Ilustración Fundación SM Argentina 2015. Distinguished Merit award, 2016, “Un hueco” cover, 3×3 Magazine.
