Care piccole muse

Lia draws. She is completely absorbed in what she is doing and never speaks. It is the muses who speak instead. They observe, comment, interpret. They put forward hypotheses about what Lia might be trying to do, about where the drawing is leading her, about which “inspiration” is guiding her. Their voices overlap, building narratives and assigning meanings. But they are wrong. Because Lia is doing something else. She is simply drawing.
A picture book that questions the very idea of inspiration as an external, mythologized and necessary force.
