Claudia Palmarucci was born in Tolentino (MC).
After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Macerata, she attended V. Konstantinov and M. Quarello’s courses at the Ars in Fabula Summer School, where she completed her Master’s degree in 2009.
For her thesis, Claudia illustrated La Rosa di Ljudmila Petruševskaja (2011), which became her debut book and with which she was selected for Illustr’arte and the prestigious CJ Picture Book.
In 2011 and 2013 she exhibited at the Illustrators Exhibition at the Bologna Book Fair and, also in 2013, at the Illustration Biennial in Bratislava.
