Mr. Moose is a solitary and habitual type. He hardly ever goes down to town except for essential shopping. One day at the general store, he learns that Mr. Bear, who lives up in the mountains, has broken a leg. So he decides to bring him something. But once he’s done it, he imagines Mr. Bear might need more and goes back. Thus begins an unexpected friendship—for both of them.
A gentle picture book about how even a small occasion can open the doors to our lives.

Themes: opportunity, friendship, what really matters.
