Once upon a time there was a pond where frogs napped, hunted, and sang together every evening. One day, something fell into the pond, and the first frog to find it ended up with a crown on her head. She became queen: she could no longer wet her feet or hunt flies, and she sat on a big leaf with her lackeys. But at the annual diving show, the pond’s best diver emerged from the water without a crown.
A sharp fairy tale that reveals the vanity and arbitrariness of power.

Themes: destiny, power, the fickleness of fortune.
