A woman who has never liked plants sees a beautiful white flower bloom in her garden—and falls in love with it. She cares for it daily, and soon more flowers like it appear. She’s overjoyed. But with time, they begin to wilt and eventually disappear. She waits a long time for them to return, and one day, she sees them blooming—not in her garden, but in the one next door.
A metaphor about the fleeting nature of love—and its greater value when it’s present.

Themes: awakening, love, transcendence.
