How should we deal with the difference that sometimes sets us apart from others? Should we suffer it, hide it, or turn it into a gift? The protagonist of this story will have to understand—or better, feel—what to do with it. He can’t go back or blend in anymore, and at first, that causes him great pain. But eventually, he realizes why that difference was meant for him and what he can do with it. After all, not everyone has wings, right?
