This book was born from fifteen years of experience by Elisabetta Garilli, creator of the Disegnare Musica Project, in the field of applied music education—specifically, from the need to support experimentation with children aged 0 to 6. In 2007, during the “Music for Spontaneous Sounds” workshop, children experienced musical literacy and sensory–cognitive engagement. The need to repeat and root this experience within schools and families led to the creation of a book that could hold all the musical and sensory stimuli, and serve as a support tool for teachers and parents.

The accompanying CD includes narration, music, and forest ambient sounds. It serves both as a guide for reading and a collection of musical contributions from the educational lab.

With a foreword by Mario Lodi and an introduction by Michele Gangemi, Past President of the Pediatricians’ Cultural Association.
Workshop proposals and reflections on environmental education by Gianluca Gozzi.
